Wilma Frances (Turner) Rowe, 84, widow of William Wilson "Bill" Rowe, formerly of National Avenue in Staunton, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022 in the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.

Mrs. Rowe was born in Hightown, Virginia on April 11, 1937, a daughter of the late Boyd Edgar and Mae (Doyle) Turner.

Wilma was a member of Cherryvale United Methodist Church and was retired from Western State Hospital where she was employed as a nurse.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Rowe was preceded in death by an infant sister, Glenna Mae Turner; two brothers, Ralph Edgar Turner and Royce Dale "Rocky" Turner.

Survivors include two sons, Darrell Rowe and girlfriend, Venessa Peters of Staunton and David Rowe and his wife Roxane of Waynesboro; a daughter, Debbie Burkholder of Staunton; a brother, Boyd (Bobby) Turner of Greenville; a sister, Donna (Turner) Long and her husband Tommy of Staunton; six grandchildren, Darrell Rowe, Jr., Joseph "Joey" Rowe, Justin Burkholder, Tate Burkholder, Colby Rowe and Peyton Rowe; a sister-in-law, Ella Turner and special friends, Ginny Turner and Ann Swink.

A Celebration of life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Cherryvale United Methodist Church by Pastor Jonathan Greer.

Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Derek Turner, Doug Smith, Matthew Turner, Robbie Turner, George Blankenship, and Ray Colvin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ruth Blankenship, Dot Bright, Bonnie Dodson, Anna Demory and Nancy Colvin.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
