Thomas Jeffrey Higgins, 63, of Staunton, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Mr. Higgins was born in Lexington, Virginia on January 23, 1958 a son of the late Lytle Higgins and Lillian (Fix) Higgins.

Thomas loved working with his hands, especially woodworking and cabinet making. He also enjoyed doing puzzles and cooking.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Higgins was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Higgins and a sister, Joyce Buck.

He is survived by two daughters, Janet and Heather Higgins; a son, Thomas Jeffrey Higgins, II; three brothers, Wilmer, Larry, and Freddy Higgins; three sisters, Darlene Higgins, Lynn Thompson and Hazel Roberts; two grandchildren, Antonio and Azeias Corona; significant other, Staci Burnett, her children and grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Staunton.

A Graveside Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Mount Olivet Cemetery in McGaheysville by Pastor Wayne Wright.
