Robbin Marie (Moon) James, 55, widow of Dennis Edward D. J. James of 88 Townhouse Lane Waynesboro went to be with her Lord and Savior, surrounded by her family on Monday, August 5, 2013 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mrs. James was born in Lynchburg on July 3, 1958, a daughter of Jewell (Wooldridge) Moon and the late Warren Lawrence Moon.
Mrs. James was a member of the Edward Avenue Baptist Church and was retired from Hersheys Chocolate as a machine operator. Robbin liked to crochet, cross stitch and was a devoted mother, grandmother and loved spending time with her family.
Surviving in addition to her mother of Waynesboro, is a son, Jason Patrick James and his wife Serena of Raphine; a daughter, Amanda Niccole (James) Wiseman and her fianc Michael W. Campbell of Waynesboro; two sisters, Cheryl Ottinger and her husband Clay of Waynesboro and Angela Pullin and her husband Barry of Verona; seven grandchildren, Bonnie James, Brandon James, Reilly Shiflett, Cheyenne Bishop, Madison Shiflett, Jordan Weikel and Christopher Weikel; two great-grandchildren, Brianna Weikel and Hayden James; a special cousin, Billy Seay and his wife Charlotte of Bumpass, VA; a number of nieces and nephews; and her faithful companions and pets, her bird Sam and dog Sheena.
A Memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 8, 2013 at the Edward Avenue Baptist Church by Pastor Gary May.
The family will receive friends following the service.
