Lydia Faloma (Puffenbarger) Lambert, 67, of 44 Fishersville Road, Fishersville passed away, Thursday, January 12, 2017 in Augusta Nursing and Rehab Center in Fishersville.
Mrs. Lambert was born on March 15, 1949 in Churchville, Virginia, a daughter of the late Raymond, Sr. and Ruth (Richmond) Puffenbarger.
Lydia was a member of Convergence Church and was retired from Western State Hospital as an LPN. She enjoyed painting, music, reading, quilting, photography and shopping.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Gaylor; and a sister, Sharon K. Milstead.
Surviving is a daughter, Rebecca J. West and her husband Roger of Fishersville; two sons, Richard Allen Lambert and Joseph Ray Lambert and his companion Natasha West all of Staunton; a brother, Raymond Puffenbarger, Jr. of Staunton; six sisters, Betsy Knott of Staunton, Loretta Sheets of Mt. Solon, Naomi Moyer of Staunton, Jeanie Chestnut of Alabama, Barbara Sullivan of Staunton and Karen Puffenbarger of Staunton; five grandchildren, Abigail West, Samuel Lambert, Simon Lambert, Thomas Lambert and James Lambert; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2017 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A Celebration of life will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2017 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by her son-in-law, Rev. Roger West.
Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will Todd Kirk, Joel Kirk, Jeffery Rawley, Justin Rawley, Timothy Rawley, Raymond Puffenbarger, Nathaniel Milstead and William Wheeler.
