Leonard Morton Fretwell's Obituary
Leonard Morton Fretwell, 79, widower of Doris Jean (Martin) Fretwell of 7 Old Cider Mill Lane, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mr. Fretwell was born on September 25, 1939 in Augusta County, a son of the late Lemuel J. and Lillian (Brooks) Fretwell.
Leonard enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, and listening to bluegrass music.
In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Fretwell was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.
Surviving is a son, Shannon Fretwell; two grandchildren, Sierra Nichole Fretwell and Dakota Lane Fretwell; a great-grandchild, Audyn Lane Ferguson; a brother, Raymond "Ronnie" Fretwell; a sister-in-law, Cheryl Martin; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A Graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2019 in Rankin United Methodist Church Cemetery, Stuarts Draft with Pastor Earl Monroe officiating.
Complete arrangements will be announced by Coffman Funeral Home.
