Kim Eugenia (Back) Downs, 53, wife of Allen D. Downs of 543A Buttermilk Spring Road passed away Friday morning, April 29, 2011 in Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mrs. Downs was born on October 4, 1957 in Staunton, a daughter of Beverly (Kirby) Carroll and the late Norwood Eugene Back.
Kim was employed with Ritenhour Rest Home as a Med Tech.Surviving in addition to her husband and mother of Staunton, is a son and daughter-in-law, Anthony Downs and his wife Jessica of Staunton; a brother, Dennis Back of Swoope; a sister, Laurie Harris of Staunton; a special mother \u0026 sister-in-law, Bertha \u0026 Cheri Downs and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends at the home of Anthony and Jessica Downs, 804 Waterton Street in Staunton from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2011.
It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to the Hope Center, 78 Medical Center Drive in Fishersville, VA or Shenandoah House, 111 North Campus Lane in Fishersville, VA 22939.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of her arrangements.
