Glenn Elwood Berry, 74, of Mt. Solon, passed away Friday, September 14, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Berry was born on November 12, 1943, in Augusta County, a son of the late George Clayton and Thelma (Shifflett) Berry.
Glenn attended the Middlebrook Church of God and retired from Stanley Furniture where he was employed as an assembler.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Berry was preceded in death by three brothers, Melvin Berry, Sr., Clayton Berry, and Bobbie Berry; and two sisters, Bonnie Berry and Edna Berry.
Surviving are two brothers, David Berry of Augusta Springs and Hoyet Berry of Staunton; a sister, Mary Edmonds of Staunton; his fiance, Sue Berry of Mt. Solon; a number of nieces and nephews; and caregivers, Heather Moats, Mary Campbell, Mary Ann Berry, and Rebecca Cox; and his pet dogs, "Rocky" and "Charley".
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 8, 2018 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A Celebration of life will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2018 in the Middlebrook Church of God by Pastor Larry Strickler.
Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.
