Erik Paul Johnson, 34, husband of Nicki (VanBelkum) Johnson passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012 at his residence.

Erik was born November 12, 1978 in Middletown, CT, a son of Paul R. and Theresa (Gorneau) Johnson.

Erik was employed as a service manager with Mid Atlantic Loadrite in Stuarts Draft.

In addition to his parents and wife, survivors include a son, Samuel James Johnson at home; a brother, Timothy Johnson and Heather Charron of Rockville, MD; grandfather, Edgar Gorneau and his wife Joan of Westbrook, CT; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Pamela VanBelkum of Stuarts Draft; and a brother-in-law, Jesse VanBelkum of Tampa, FL.

A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2012 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Greg Mayo.

Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday, December 3, 2012 at Coffman Funeral Home.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
