Charles Philip "Charlie" Lines's Obituary
Charles Philip "Charlie" Lines, 80, of Staunton and formerly of Chesterfield County passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Envoy of Staunton.
Mr. Lines was born in Staunton, Virginia on January 30, 1941, a son of the late Achilles Finley and Mary Freed (Carroll) Lines.
Charles served in the United States Air Force and retired from the State of Virginia in 2007, where he was employed as a computer programmer.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lines was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Jean (Lines) Armstrong and Ruth Frances (Lines) Myrtle.
Surviving are his children, Shannon Todd Lines and his wife Carla of Brambleton and Cathy (Lines) Oliveros and her husband, Alex of Palmyra; mother of his children, Dixie L. Parrish; two grandsons, Kaelin Domonique Cali and Charles Joseph Lines; a granddaughter, Mykaela Sabine Cali; and nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021 in the Arbor Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery by Pastor Larry Strickler.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
