Bradford Lee Brad Smith, 62, widow of Sandra Ann (Clemmer) Smith passed away Monday, March 17, 2014 at his residence.

Mr. Smith was born August 29, 1951 in West Virginia, a son of the late George Lynn and Jean (Cunningham) Smith.

Brad was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam Conflict with the Black Horse Unit. He was retired as a textile worker and enjoyed the outdoors.

Surviving is a brother, James L. Smith and his wife

Judy; and a nephew, Doug Smith all of Oakland, MD; mother-in-law, Jean Clemmer-Eavers of Greenville; a special friend and caregiver, Jeanette Jacobs; his Army buddy and Tank Commander, Carroll Hipps and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial service will be conducted at a later date.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
