Yvonne Maree Bonnie Coiner, 59, of Plaza Apartments passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2016 in Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Miss Coiner was born on April 26, 1957 in Staunton, a daughter of
Earl G., Sr. and Rachel (Anderson) Coiner.
Bonnie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
and she was retired from Cornell Communication and Mary Baldwin where she was employed as switchboard operator. She was an avid reader, enjoyed spending time on the computer and visiting with her family and was a favorite to her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Miss Coiner was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Sly.
Surviving is a brother, Earl G. Coiner, Jr. and his wife Rayenel of Staunton; three sisters, Emily Simmons and her husband Carl, Debbie Moore all of Staunton and Mary Coiner and her husband Broi of Vestmannaeyjar Island, Iceland; a number of nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Joseph Faria and his nephew, Matthew Brown also survive.
A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2016 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Waynesboro by Bishop Michael L. Swinson. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be Joseph Faria, Joshua Coiner, Micah Coiner, Erix Lagos, Eric Simmons, Sean Simmons and Eddie Wulin.
