Obituary

Woodrow Lee Berry, 79, husband of Mary Alice Berry of Fishersville, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 in Kings Daughters Community Health and Rehab in Staunton.

Mr. Berry was born on October 15, 1937 in Augusta County, Virginia, a son of the late Douglas and Virginia (Porter) Berry.

Woodrow was a member of Augusta Stone Presbyterian Church, he was retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation, after 37 years of service, he was a member of the Verona Fire Department and the Mount Sidney Ruritan Club.

Mr. Berry was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Lee Berry; a granddaughter, Tiffany Dawn Fullan; three brothers; and four sisters.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are three daughters, Lois Ann Fullan of Harrisonburg, Wanda Berry Moore of Verona, and Frances Yvonne Berry of Stuarts Draft; three grandchildren, Aaron Lee Moore and his wife Christina, Nathan Allen Fullan and his fiance Codi Heieren, and Courtney Leigh Berry; three great-grandchildren, Abigail Grace Moore, Aaron Jacob Moore, and Braylee Anne Moore; a step-great-granddaughter, Alexis Marie Campbell; and a special friend, Doug Moore.

A Graveside service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 18, 2017 in the Augusta Memorial Park by Pastor Brian Wheeler.

It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to a charity of ones choice.
