Wilmer Koonz Howdyshell, Jr., 66, of 11 Mountain View Drive, Verona
passed away Friday, August 3, 2018 in Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mr. Howdyshell was born on May 8, 1952 in Alexandria, Virginia, a son
of Wilmer Koontz, Sr. and Gladys Susan (Hicklin) Howdyshell.
Wilmer was employed as a truck driver with WNL Trucking Company and he enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting.
Surviving are two sons, Brandon G. Deal and Joshua L. Deal both of North Carolina; a daughter, Samantha S. Rolack and her husband Russell of Illinois; a granddaughter, Nevaeh Howdyshell; two brothers, Garry Howdyshell, Sr. and Nelson Howdyshell; six sisters, Twila Wilfong, Susie Lester, Linda Rhodes, Darlene Acker, Penny Wheeler, and Debbie Kaye Howdyshell; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Mr. Howdyshell's wishes there will be no public services.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of his arrangements.
