Willie Lambert, Jr., 78, of Mt. Sidney, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at his residence.

Mr. Lambert was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on December 3, 1947, a son of the late Willie Lambert, Sr. and Daphna (Nesselrodt) Lambert.

Willie was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from AMP/Tyco after many dedicated years as a machinist. In his spare time, Mr. Lambert enjoyed camping and listening to blue grass music.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Lambert was preceded in death by two sisters, Kay Lucas and Flossie Sager; and a brother, Raymond Lambert.

Surviving, is his companion, Bonnie L. Riggleman; two sons, Darrell Ray Miller and Michael Allen Miller; a daughter, Elizabeth “Beth” Golden; a brother, Roy Lambert; a sister, Kathleen Borror; and ten grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 in Oaklawn Memory Gardens by Pastor Eddie Hooke.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
