William Robert Bill Fleshman, 71, husband of Wanda (Moran) Fleshman, of Verona went to the with his loving Lord and Savior, Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Kings Daughters Community Health Center in Staunton.

Mr. Fleshman was born March 23, 1942 in Charmco, WV, a son of the late William R. Fleshman, Sr. and Kathleen (Wheeling) Fleshman.

Bill was a member of the Fountain of Life Church of God of Prophecy. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a Master Electrician until his retirement. Bill was a loving and devoted husband and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was an avid gardener and loved to keep busy helping others. Bill would stop whatever he was doing to help whoever needed him including neighbors, many churches and strangers for he was a man who could fix anything with his hands and enjoyed doing so. He loved southern gospel music, RFD TV and was a NASCAR fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Sharp.

Surviving in addition to his loving wife, Wanda of thirty years; is a brother, James Fleshman and a sister, Janice Tignor both of Rainelle, WV; three nieces and four nephews; and special friends, Carol Jackson and Dian Lucas also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2013 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor David Smith.

Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Active pallbearers will be Dian Lucas, Kristopher Showalter, Mark Showalter, Colton Showalter, Joseph Smith and Jeffrey Snook.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
