William Richard Jenkins, 66, passed away Monday, August 19, 2019 at Augusta Health in Fishersville, Virginia.
Mr. Jenkins was born in Front Royal, Virginia on April 9, 1953, a son of the late William and Lola (Dawson) Jenkins.
William retired in 2013, after working at the Waynesboro Landscape and Garden Center. He was a Radio Announcer for G93 FM in the 1980's and was a Manager of Video Director. William enjoyed old radio shows, taking flying lessons, and spending time with his daughter. When his health allowed, he attended Arbor Hill Church of the Brethren.
Surviving is his daughter, Megan Jenkins of Staunton; two brothers, Wayne Jenkins of Florida and Steve Jenkins of Front Royal; a sister, Elizabeth Dutrow of Stephens City; and his extended family, the Lotts family.
Services will be held at a later date.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of his arrangements.
