William Aren Greene, Jr., 80, widower of Maria Georgiana Greene, of Staunton, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Greene was born in Lynchburg, Virginia on July 11, 1942, a son of the late William Greene and Bertha Adele (Johnson) Greene.

Surviving, is a son, William Greene, IV, of Staunton; two daughters, Jackie Greene and Tonika Greene, both of Georgia; two brothers, Richard and Arthur Johnson, both of Lynchburg; a sister, Elvera Greene-Borders, of California; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023 in Fairview Cemetery by Pastor James McIntosh.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
