William Luther Crumb, 92, widower of Gladys Lillian (Annenberg) Crumb of Staunton, Virginia passed away Friday, April 23, 2021at Birch Gardens Assisted Living in Staunton.
Mr. Crumb was born on March 14, 1929 in Mt. Hope, West Virginia, a son of the late Gordon Lee and Reba (Paxton) Crumb.
William was a veteran of the United States Navy, a retired machinist and a member of the Mountain City Masonic Lodge AF/AM No.67 in Lexington, Virginia.
In addition to his wife of sixty-eight years and parents, Mr. Crumb was preceded in death by a daughter, Andrea Lynn; five brothers, Gordon Crumb, Johnny Crumb, Eddie Crumb, Jack Crumb, and Emmitt Crumb; three sisters, Betty Neal, Shirley Bush, and Barbara Montgomery.
Surviving is a son, Allen Robert Crumb of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Heather Studenrath, Joseph William Camel, Chad Michael Camel, and Amanda Renee Sliff; three great-grandchildren, Lelia Camel, Shawna Studenrath, and Jayden Studenrath; sister, Susan Musgrave of Lynchburg; special friend, Tommy Leslie; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Mr. Crumb's wishes there will be no services.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
