William Wayne Adams, 58, husband of Elizabeth Irene Thomas, of Weaver Lane, Middlebrook, Virginia passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024 in the Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.

Mr. Adams was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on November 2, 1965 a son of the late Robert Everette Adams and Julie (Vardeman) Adams.

William was retired from Katz Audio as a sound and lights technician. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed gaming.

In addition to his wife of fifteen years, he is survived by a step-daughter, Elizabeth Adams of Middlebrook; an adopted son, John Kern; a brother, Kenneth Adams; a sister, Donna Branch, both of Greenville; a niece, Julie Proffitt; a nephew, Michael Mathis; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Sensabaugh; sister-in-law, Mary Cash; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In honoring Mr. Adams' wishes, there will be no services.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
