Wayne Eugene Hodge's Obituary
Wayne Eugene Hodge, 74, of Plaza Drive, Staunton, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, at Veterans Hospital in Salem.
Mr. Hodge was born on Feb 24, 1940, in Bath County, a son of the late Roy Hubert Hodge Sr. and Mary Blanche (Trainer) Hodge.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hodge was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy Hubert Hodge Jr., Roland Buddy Hodge and Clifford Hodge; and two sisters Genevieve Sanders and Wanda Smith.
Surviving, are three sisters, Dorothy Hurt, Paige Wheeler, and Beattie Compton.
Wayne was a master photographer; he enjoyed the art of photography and was an excellent teacher of the craft.
A memorial service will be at 2pm. Sunday, Feb, 8, 2015, at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be private at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery located in Amelia County.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
