Obituary

Warren Lee Midget Kincaid, 67, of 99 Dire Wolf Lane, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 7, 2018 in the Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Mr. Kincaid was born on February 28, 1951 in Staunton, a son of the late Chester Hawood and Helen Mae (Downey) Kincaid.

Midget as his friends knew him, will be remembered as a simple man who loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He also had a passion for slow pitch softball.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Kincaid was preceded in death by his companion, Penny Goff, and pets, Hooch, Whitey and Pebbles.

He is survived by a son, Jarred D. Kincaid and his wife Tania of Verona; step-son, Josh Goff and his wife Celena of Augusta Springs; a sister, Wanda Nagy and her friend Frank Thompson of Staunton; four grandchildren, April Strickler and her husband Brian, Ben Demory and his wife Natasha, Isaac Goff and Mason Goff; a great granddaughter, Reese Strickler; a nephew, Stephan Nagy; a niece, Janis Moyer; and his lifelong friends, Mike Hoke, Lewis Corbin, and Wilfred Sprouse.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2018 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.

A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2018 in Thornrose Cemetery.

The family would like to invite those desiring to meet at Coffman Funeral Home by 1:00 p.m. Monday and go in procession to his service.

Active pallbearers will be Lewis Corbin, Mike Hoke, Wilfred Sprouse, Brandon Corbin, Harold Bosserman, and Stephan Nagy.

Honorary pallbearers will be Todd Via, Ronnie Via, Ben Demory, and Brian Strickler.

The family would like to express a special Thank You to Harold Bosserman, Ronnie Via, Dr. James Reid, staff, and nurses at the UVA Dialysis Center in Staunton and neighbor Judi Roach.

At the request of Mr. Kincaid, please make memorial contributions in his memory to the Shenandoah Valley Animal Services Center, 1001 Mt. Torrey Road, Lyndhurst, Virginia 22952 or the Wildlife Center of Virginia, 1800 South Delphine Avenue, Waynesboro, Virginia 22980.
