Wanda Laferien (Snyder) Campbell, 77, widow of Robert Francis "Bob" Campbell of Betsy Bell Road, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at her residence.
Mrs. Campbell was born in Augusta County, Virginia on January 15, 1944, a daughter of the late Elwood Gilbert Snyder and Clara Elizabeth (Vest) Snyder.
Wanda attended Linden Heights Baptist Church, and retired from Private Home Care as a CNA. Mrs. Campbell's joy was the time spent babysitting her grandchildren.
Surviving are three sons, Michael L. "Micky" Campbell and his wife Michele of Montpelier, Virginia, Anthony D. "Tony" Campbell and his wife Sonya of Staunton, and Tracy L. Campbell and his wife Lisa of Verona; two brothers, Winston Elwood Snyder and wife Crystal of Germany, and Lester "Dale" Snyder and wife Millie of Crimora; three grandchildren, Ciara Campbell and fianc Cody Montgomery, Kristen Campbell and Cayden Campbell; two great-grandchildren, Addison and Nash Bo Montgomery; a step-grandson, Christopher Cleveland and wife Payton; and a very special friend and mother of daughter-in-law Sonya, Debbie Moore.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2021 in Oaklawn Memory Gardens by Pastor Luke B. Smith.
Active pallbearers will be Dale Snyder, David Hailey, Marion Neff, Cody Montgomery, Larry Neff, Brock Burns, Scott Biby, Alan Price and Christopher Cleveland.
The family of Mrs. Campbell wishes to express a sincere "Thank You" to Augusta Health Hospice, especially nurse Carol Eye and Audrey Deese.
Coffman Funeral Home, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
