Wanda S. Fitzgerald

STAUNTON:

Wanda Diane (Sheets) Fitzgerald, 61, widow of David Evans Fitzgerald of Staunton, passed away Friday, March 8, 2013 at her residence.
Mrs. Fitzgerald was born on April 23, 1951 in Augusta County, a daughter of the late Paul W. and Geneva (Wine) Sheets Senger.
Wanda was a member of the Lebanon Church of the Brethren and was employed by Western State Hospital as a Technology and Application Supervisor.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Fitzgerald was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Sheets.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving is a son Frederick Rhodes McDavid, III and wife Mary Lee of Verona; her step-father, Mr. Garold Senger, Sr. of Verona; two step-sons, Shawn Fitzgerald and wife Mistie of Staunton and Brian Fitzgerald and wife Sonya of Texas; two grandchildren, Frederick Rhodes McDavid, IV and Waverly Jane McDavid; seven step-grandchildren, Emma, Gabriel, Dwayne, Zachery, Christian and Angelina Fitzgerald and Betty Jane Caulfield also survive.
A Memorial Service will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2013 in the Lebanon Church of the Brethren, by Pastor Joel E. Ballew.
The family will receive friends following the service.
