On September 19, 2026, at 90 years old Virgina Judith Zupp (Taylor) joined the husband she loved deeply and rests now in the presence of the God in whom she held abiding faith.

Judy was the daughter of the late Harold & Virginia (Cuggy) Taylor.

Judy, as she was known to friends and family, grew up in Jamica, Queens, NYC. As a young woman she lived in Northport, NY before meeting her husband (Bob) at a house party on Long Island. Together Judy and Bob had two sons (Robert and Nicholas) and raised their family on Long Island and in central New Jersey. Judy adored her sons and took great happiness in watching them both grow and lead full lives of their own. There was always a sparkle in Judy’s eyes when she spoke of her sons. She loved them both dearly.

Judy was not only a wife and mother, but also of source of light, life, and love. Judy had a fondness for books and art. She always had a book in progress on the coffee table and loved a visit to the art museum. In retirement Judy volunteered at her local library and with the church when she could. She loved the Beach Boys and Abba – she might be spotted driving down the road singing along with the air conditioning on. Judy was an avid bird watcher and would wake at dawn to see them at her bird feeder. She also kept an abundant herb garden, maintained with vast knowledge and a love for nature. One of her greatest joys was sharing these interests with her granddaughter (Elizabeth). Judy lived an active life for as long as she could, loving to go on long walks whenever the sky was clear and, of course, golfing with her husband.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband Robert O Zupp, her beloved little brother Terrence (Terry) A. Taylor and sister-in-law Marian Taylor. Judy is survived by her sons Robert (Lorelei) and Nicholas (Hope), granddaughter Elizabeth, and many nieces and nephews. Judy is greatly missed.

Services will be held graveside in the Catskills in Upstate NY.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
