Victor Ashley Vic Rosen, 63, husband of Janet M. Rosen of 19 Pine Tree Lane passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. Rosen was born in Staunton on August 28, 1949, a son of the late Gloyd Elwood Rosen, Sr. and Allie (Hevener) Rosen.
Throughout Vics talented career as a musician, he played with the following bands, the Miller Brothers, Star Fire, the Entertainers, the Impalas, Wildhorse and the High on Mountain Boys. He was the former owner of Schooners and Roto-Rooter and had worked at Harner Wheels as a car salesman.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Rosen was preceded in death by a brother, Gloyd Rosen, Jr.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Victor A. Rosen, II and his wife Nicole of Bryan, TX; two daughters, Brittany N. Stroop and her fianc Jason Weeks and Megan R. Stroop all of Staunton; a grandson, Hudson Trapper Rosen; his favorite aunt, Madeline Greene of Staunton; and a number of cousins and many close friends also survive.
Services will be private with Mr. Greg Smith officiating.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Vics close and special friends for their loyalty throughout the years and during his illness, Dave Wirtanen, Bobby Sipe, Charley Miller, Rob Wilson, Jerry Fretwell and all his musician brothers.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
