Vercie Nell (Roark) Morell, 87, widow of Raymond Theodore Morell, of Goshen, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024 at her residence.

Mrs. Morell was born in Nashville, Tennessee on July 17, 1937, and was the last surviving member of her family.

Nell enjoyed her role as homemaker and loved caring for her many animals, being outdoors, traveling, and taking care of her family.

Surviving, are her children, Michael R. "Mike" Morell, Melissa M. Ireson and her husband, Harry Ireson, and James A. Morell; fourteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Oaklawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens.

A special "Thank You" to Michael "Mike" Morell for taking care of mama after daddy died 18 months ago. He had to do things no son should have to do. Thank you.
