Tucker Lee McCutcheon, 86, husband of Peggy Mae (Corbin) McCutcheon of Churchville Avenue, Churchville, went home to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mr. McCutcheon was born in Augusta County, Virginia on October 30, 1934, a son of the late Iva Mae (McCutcheon) Woods.
Tucker was a member of Miller Memorial Baptist Church and was retired from Basic Witz / Stanley Furniture for forty years.
In addition to his mother, Mr. McCutcheon was preceded in death by a brother, Charles McCutcheon.
Surviving in addition to the love of his life, Peggy of sixty-one years, is a daughter, Glenda M. Fleming and her husband Phillip of Augusta Springs; a son, Ronald L. McCutcheon and Wanda of Staunton; his loving grandchildren, who called him "PawPaw", Samantha (McCutcheon) Kingston and her husband Lewis, Jonathan Fleming, James Fleming, Ronald McCutcheon, II, Ashley McCutcheon, and Sara McCutcheon and friend Robbie; and three special great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 11, 2021 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A Celebration of life will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2021 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Scott Reese.
Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery in Augusta Springs, Virginia.
Active pallbearers will be Lewis Corbin, Lee Goff, Shannon Crawford, Glenwood Knight, Earl McCray, and Ronald Snell.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
