Travis William "Ted" Showalter, 75, husband of Jerlene H. (Hostetter) Showalter of Bald Rock Road, Verona passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 at his residence.
Mr. Showalter was born in Staunton, Virginia on March 20, 1945, a son of the late Oral William and Anna Bell (Eustler) Showalter.
Ted was a Sergeant for eight years in the National Guard and was a Barber for fifty-eight years Staunton and Augusta County.
Surviving in addition to his wife of fifty-four years, is a son, Michael Travis Showalter and his children, Korey Showalter and Brielle Showalter; a daughter, Amy Showalter Morris and her husband Scott and their children, Dakota Scott Morris, Colby Layne Morris, and Caden William Morris all of Mt. Sidney; two brothers, Dennis Showalter of Zion Crossroads and Mark Showalter of Verona; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
