Tommy Howard Rachol, 63, husband of Billie (Marcum) Rachol of 958 Middlebrook Road, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012 in High Point Regional Hospital, N.C.
Mr. Rachol was born April 14, 1949 in Greensboro, N.C. a son of the late Samuel Joseph Rachol, Sr. and Myrtle (McPherson) Rachol.
Tommy was a member of Arbor Hill Church of the Brethren. He served in the United States Marine Corp for 20 years and later 4 years in the Civil Service as an electronics instructor.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Rachol is survived by two brothers Frank Rachol of High Point, N.C.; and Ralph Rachol of Harrisonburg, PA.
A graveside service will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2012 in Arbor Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery by Pastors Whitney Parrish and Grant Simmons.
There will be no public viewing or visitation.
Tommy was a recipient of a lung transplant, therefore memorial contributions may be made to LifeNet Health of Virginia, 5809 Ward CT., Virginia Beach, Virginia 23455 or Arbor Hill Church of the Brethren, 1473 Middlebrook Road, Staunton, Virginia 24401.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
