Timothy "Scott" Cason, 66, of Staunton, Virginia passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at his home.

Mr. Cason was born in Staunton, Virginia on April 9, 1959, a son of Harry C. "Tim" Cason and the late Betty Jane (Byers) Cason.

Scott was a 1977 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School. He worked with his father and brother at several service stations, the last one being Cason's Service Center on Greenville Avenue.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Cason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Angelina Cason and Manley and Hazel Byers.

Surviving, in addition to his father of Staunton, is a brother, Michael R. "Mickey" Cason of Staunton; an uncle, Woodie Cason and his wife, Betty; three aunts, Helen Ramsey, Ruby Bratton, and Doris Cason; and special friends, Mary Seekford and Candi Smith.

At Scott's request there will be no services.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
