Thurman Dillon Eye's Obituary
Thurman Dillon Eye, 78, of Hays Avenue, Staunton, passed away Monday, May 10, 2021 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mr. Eye was born in Staunton, Virginia on February 6, 1943, a son of the late Kermit Dillon and Mary Esther (Bodkin) Eye.
Thurman was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from ASR where he was employed as a Security Guard. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, loved to talk, and never met a stranger.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Eye was preceded in death by a son, Danny Lee Eye and a grandson, Nathan Eye.
Surviving is a son, Randy N. Eye and girlfriend, Susan Painter of Raphine; twin brother, Norman Eye of Pennsylvania; grandson, Dallas Eye and his wife Melanie; great granddaughter, Fiona Eye; nephew, Michael Eye; daughter-in-law, Renee Eye of Churchville; and pet grand dog "Harley".
Burial will be private in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project, Post Office Box 75840, Jacksonville, Florida 32256.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
