Mr. Redifer was born on July 19, 1945 in Virginia, a son of the late Walter O. and Hallie B. (Griffin) Redifer.
Thomas served in the United States Navy, retired from DuPont with thirty-eight years of service and was a driver for Quicks Bus Company for over ten years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and deeply loved his wife, children and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Redifer was preceded in death by two brothers, Boyd Redifer and James Redifer.
Surviving in addition to his wife, is a son, Thomas Redifer, Jr. and his wife Kara of Waynesboro; daughter, Angela Hernandez and her husband Mickey of North Carolina; three grandchildren, Makayla Harris, Emma Redifer, and Jonathan Hernandez; a brother, Jared Redifer; two sisters, Phyllis Pilson and Emma-Jean Hinkle; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
A Graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 17, 2017 in Oaklawn Memory Gardens by Pastor Bobby Campbell.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of his arrangements.
