Thomas Glenn Keesee, 63, husband of Phyllis (Mace) Keesee passed away Friday, November 09, 2012 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mr. Keesee was born July 23, 1949 in Chilhowie, a son of the late Luther and Lula (Sessor) Keesee.
Mr. Keesee was a member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church, a retired microwave radio engineer from NEC in Northern Virginia and a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW, enjoyed fishing and working on automobiles.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest Keesee of Arizona and Eugene Keesee of Atkins, VA; and two sisters, Virgie K. Wilson and Patsy K. Brooks. both of Chilhowie, VA.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 31 years, he is survived by a daughter, Leighanne Keesee of Staunton and a step-daughter, Linda L. Gallarno and husband Daniel of Fairfax; two brothers, David Keesee of Chilhowie and Burton Buddy Keesee and wife June of Gate City; two sisters, his twin sister, Mary Ann K. Curry of Marion and Norma K. Schuler of Meadowview; two grandchildren; and his best friend, Buddy.
A Memorial service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 12, 2012 at Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church by Rev. JoAnn Bunn.
