Thomas Richard Buchanan's Obituary
Thomas Richard Ricky Buchanan, 52, of 107 Miller Street, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 8, 2015 in the UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville.
Mr. Buchanan was born on April 6, 1963 in Staunton, a son of the late Raymond Buchanan, Sr. and Mary Sue (Bowman) Buchanan.
Ricky worked in construction and was employed by Eddie Bottenfield Excavating. He loved spending time with his family and he liked to camp, watch westerns on television and ride motorcycles.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Lila Buchanan are two sons, Christopher Buchanan and his wife Kimberly and Donald Moats, Jr. and his wife Kimberly; two daughters, Kristy Via and her special friend Joe Snyder and Jennifer Miller and her husband Dustin; eleven grandchildren; a brother, Raymond A. Buchanan, Jr. and his wife Gail; a sister, Sharon Pence; two goddaughters, Brooke and Kellie Jones; a number of nieces and nephews; and special friends, James and Patsy Miller, Wayne Miller and Karl Ward.
A Memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the home of James and Patsy Miller, 202 Reservoir Street, Staunton.
