Thelma Josephine Hickman's Obituary

Thelma Josephine (Brown) Hickman, 98, wife of Carl K. Hickman, Jr., of 726 Aintree Place, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at her residence.
Mrs. Hickman was born August 14, 1916 in Etlan, VA, a daughter of the late Jacob Daniel and Bessie Mae (Dulin) Brown.
Thelma was a member of Marquis Memorial United Methodist Church. She was the owner and operator of Park and Eat Restaurant in Cliftondale, VA. Mrs. Hickman enjoyed quilting, crafts, camping and traveling with her husband.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hickman was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Hickman was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving in addition to her husband of fifty-eight years, is a special niece, Johlene Jody Hess of Linville; and a number of other nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2015 in the Marquis Memorial United Methodist Church by Pastor Robert Sharp.
The family will receive friends following the service in the church Fellowship Hall.
A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2015 in the Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
