Steven Dale Rawley, 58, lifelong companion of Bea Hite, of Waynesboro went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 9, 2015 surrounded by his loving family at Augusta Health, Fishersville.
Steve was born November 7, 1956 in Staunton, a son of Betsy M. Knott and Guy N. Rawley.
Steve was a veteran of the United States Navy. A few of his passions included playing the guitar and fishing. He was a great mechanic with a love of Harley Davidson motorcycles.
In addition to his companion and his parents, Mr. Rawley is survived by his step father, Rev. Warren L. Knott; a son, Steven James Rawley; three brothers, Jeff Rawley and wife Lisa, David Knott and wife Chrissy, and Alfie Knott and wife Cherice; a sister, Teresa Knott; two step children, Margret and Buddy Hite; five grandchildren, Bryce, Kenlee and Kennedy Rawley, Reba Branch, and Robbie Hite; nine nephews and two nieces.
A Memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Faith Christian Church by Rev. Warren L. Knott and Jeff Rawley.
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions in memory of Steven c/o Coffman Funeral Home.
