Steven Larry Steve Sprouse, 73, husband of Pamela Pam (Hall) Sprouse of 31 Highland Hills Lane, Stuarts Draft passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 in the University of Virginia Medical Center. Mr. Sprouse was born on April 3, 1942 in Craigsville, a son of the late Elijah Herman and Thelma (Zimbro) Sprouse.

Steve was a member of Craigsville Presbyterian Church and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from Stillwater Mills in 2003 after 35 years of service as plant manager. He enjoyed fishing, hunting mushrooms and loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 22 years are two sons, Chris E. Sprouse and his wife Debra of Churchville and Cameron C. Sprouse and his girlfriend Kim Fitzgerald of Mint Spring; two step-children, Michael E. Runkle, Jr. and his wife Liza of Diego Garcia and Laura R. Rhodes and her husband Jeremy of Fulks Run; two brothers, Joe M. Sprouse and his wife Cynthia of Hilton Head Island, SC and Michael R. Sprouse and his wife Susan of Staunton; one sister, Jacqueline Lee Sprouse of Staunton; four grandchildren, Erin Sprouse, Charlotte Sprouse, Tyler Rhodes and Molly Runkle-Yeaw; a close nephew, Shannon Sprouse and numerous other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the residence.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 14, 2016 in Craigsville Presbyterian Church by Rev. Linwood Wilkes and Rev. Gwen Carr. Burial will follow in Craigsville Community Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Shannon Sprouse, James Houff, Michael Houff, Trent Vipperman, Jason Corbin and Zebulon Simpson.

Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.
