Sterling Shai Meeks's Obituary
Sterling Shai Meeks, 3 year old son of, Jamie Alan Meeks and Trinity Nicole Ashley King of Staunton, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018.
Sterling was born on June 30, 2015 in Fishersville.
Sterling loved singing nursery rhymes and playing with his cars and big trucks.
Sterling was preceded in death by an uncle, Terry Lee King, Jr.
In addition to his parents, Sterling is survived by two brothers, Sylus S. Meeks and Shiloh S. Meeks both of Staunton; paternal grandmother, Kelley Holland and her husband Mike Campbell; paternal grandfather, Tim Meeks; maternal grandmother, Wendy Mae Talley and her boyfriend, Steve Lee; maternal grandfather, Terry Lee King, Sr. and his wife Zina Bethune; two aunts, Fawn Campbell and Cris Swortzel and her husband Randy; and godparents, Michael and Chelsi Hughes.
A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2018 in the Barren Ridge Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of his arrangements.
