Stephen Hodge Sandy's Obituary
Stephen Hodge Steve Sandy, 51, of 589 Eagle Rock Lane passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mr. Sandy was born September 24, 1962 in Staunton, a son of Marion Hodge and Ruth Arlene (Kelley) Sandy.
Steve attended Grubert Avenue Church of God. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was self-employed as a mechanic. He enjoyed target practice, watching TV and playing the guitar.
Surviving in addition to his parents of Staunton is a sister, Rebecca D. Shifflett and husband William Will of Harrisonburg and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2014 in the Grubert Avenue Church of God by Pastor Jerry Thomas.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
