Stephen R. Lamb
STAUNTON:
Stephen Randolph Skeeter Lamb, 57, husband of Jane Clair
(Joyce) Lamb of 339 White Oak Gap Road passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011 from the results of an automobile accident.
Mr. Lamb was born July 13, 1954 in Washington, DC, a son of Rosemary Ethel (Shanklin) Lamb and the late Eugene Randolph Lamb.
Stephen was employed by Shen-Tel Communications as a call center supervisor. He was a 1972 graduate of Fort Defiance High School and attended Blue Ridge Community College. Skeeter was a sportsman and loved the outdoors; he loved fishing, boating, target shooting, the Virginia beaches where he enjoyed eating crabs and the art of woodworking or just mowing grass.
Surviving in addition to his wife of fifteen years and his mother of Weyers Cave, is a step-son, Jason Hendricks and a step-daughter, Juli-Anna Hendricks both of Staunton; two sisters, Cindy L. Fierstein and her husband Steven M. of Eagle, CO and Sharon L. Coomer and her husband Bill of Louisville, KY; two nieces, Ashlei Roa and Alexis Fierstein; and his pet boxer Daisy also survive.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2011 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Charles Lamb.
The family will receive friends following the service.
