Sidney Mae Lockridge, 69, widow of John E. Lockridge, of Lofton Road, Raphine, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021 at Shenandoah Hospice House in Fishersville.

Mrs. Lockridge was born in Bath County, Virginia on January 6, 1952, a daughter of the late Elbert S. Loan and Gracie (Shue) Loan.

Surviving, is a son, Steven G. Evans, Jr. and his wife Theresa; two grandchildren, Olivia Marie Evans and Serena Faith Evans; sisters and brothers-in-law. Bobby Lockridge and James Laprade; special friend, Brad Mawyer and family; and a number of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Augusta Health Foundation, c/o Hospice of the Shenandoah, P.O. Box 1000, Fishersville, VA 22939.

The family would like to express a sincere "Thank You" to the hospice staff and to the staff at the Shenandoah House for their kindness and loving care.
