Shirley Jean Smith's Obituary
Shirley Jean (Martin) Smith, 68, wife of James B. Boyd Smith, of 530 F Street, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017 in the Augusta Nursing and Rehabilitation in Fishersville.
Mrs. Smith was born on January 15, 1949 in Staunton, a daughter of Peggy (Stoner) Martin and the late Jack Martin.
Shirley was a homemaker.
In addition to her father, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by a son, Carl Wayne Smith; a brother, Frankie Martin; and a sister, Wanda M. Crawford.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 48 years and her mother of Staunton, are two daughters, Barbara Jean Smith of Staunton and Teresa Dawn Smith of Tennessee; three sisters, Marie Halterman, Cindy Kier and husband David and Trudy Haaf and husband Keith, all of Staunton; two grandchildren, Dylan James Roberts and Kayla Baber also survive.
A Memorial service will be conducted 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2017 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Harold W. "Pete" Campbell.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
