Shirley May (Shifflet) Kelley, 66, of 60 Plaza Lane passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at her residence.
Mrs. Kelley was born in Staunton on May 12, 1947, a daughter of George Shifflet and the late Sadie (Hendricks) Shifflet.
Shirley was a member of the Staunton Womens Fraternal Order of the Eagles and she loved doing acts of kindness for her family and friends.
Surviving is a son, Dan Shifflet and wife Carol, and a son Timmy Berry; a daughter, Sherry Alphin; two sisters, Betty McNeal and Joyce Swaim and husband David; fifteen grandchildren, Shannon Shifflet, Amber Shifflet, Heather Berry, Chris Alphin, Josh Alphin, Jacob Alphin, Cody Alphin, John Alphin, Jr., Steven Berry, Hannah Bollinger, Cody Berry, Logan Berry, Raven Bradley, Courtney Newlen, and Haylee Berry; five great-grandchildren, Camden Shull, Itzell Berry, Lilly Berry, Zaniyah Alphin, and Mason Peters; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 7, 2014 in the Barren Ridge Church of the Brethren Cemetery by Pastor Galen Combs.
Active pallbearers will be Mrs. Kelleys grandsons.
