Shirley Ann Jacobs's Obituary
Shirley Ann (Darnell) Jacobs, 63, of 1758 New Hope Road, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2013 at her residence.
Mrs. Jacobs was born August 28, 1950, in Virginia, a daughter of the late Willis and Velvia (Stidham) Darnell.
Shirley was a Jehovahs Witness and a longtime member of the East Waynesboro Kingdom Hall.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jacobs was preceded in death by a sister, Edith Bunch.
Survivors include a daughter; Cindy Bussard and husband Harry; two sons; Michael Jacobs and wife Shawna, and Brian Jacobs and Jessica Gough; four brothers; Bert Darnell, Jimmie Darnell, Curtis Darnell, and Billy Ray Darnell; a sister, Karen Mullins; ten grandchildren, Chester Riley II, Justin Riley, April Bussard, Lacey Elizabeth Hinegardner, Shailie Werths Cook, Stephanie Baldwin, Shaun Jacobs, Austin Jacobs, Haiden Jacobs, and Lynden Jacobs; three great grandchildren, Brooklyn Cook, Kinsley Baldwin, and Isaiah Baldwin; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews; and special friend and caregiver Wanda Grough also survives.
A service will be held at Kingdom Hall, 427 Cattle Scales Road, Waynesboro with date and time to be announced.
