Shirley Marie (Buckland) Haddock, 61, wife of Glen T. Haddock of 11 Bishop Lane, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019 in Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mrs. Haddock was born on November 15, 1957 in Hampton, Virginia, a daughter of the late George Lewis Buckland, Sr. and Mary "Granny" Frye.
Mrs. Haddock was employed with Invista Corporation with over 18 years of service, she enjoyed cooking, reading and traveling. Shirley was an avid homemaker who enjoyed her home and family.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 36 years is a son, Mack T. Haddock of Staunton; a daughter, Danee` J. Haddock and her fianc Travis Argenbright of Swoope; a grandson, Lucas Argenbright; three brothers, Harry S. Buckland and Donnie R. Buckland both of Staunton and George L. Buckland, Jr. and his wife Beth of Fogelsville, Pennsylvania; four sisters, Ginny Turner of Verona, Donna Campbell of Waynesboro, Dottie Roberson and her husband Jeff of Staunton and Jodi Brelsford and her husband Brian of Summersville, South Carolina; two step brothers, Roger Frye of Harrisonburg and Rex Frye and his wife Kodi of Staunton; a brother-in-law Rick Haddock of Auburn, Alabama and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
In keeping with Shirley's wishes, there will be no public services.
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to the Staunton-Augusta Regional SPCA, 33 Archery Lane, Staunton, Virginia 24401.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of her arrangements.
