Shelvey Jean (Quick) Willmott, 84, of Governors Way in Waynesboro, passed away Monday, November 15, 2021 in the UVA Transitional Care Hospital in Charlottesville.

Ms. Willmott was born on January 1, 1937 in Staunton, a daughter of the late Markus Philip and Edna Mary (Gilbert) Quick.

Ms. Willmott was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. Shelvey retired from DuPont after twenty years of service as a Lab Technician and prior to DuPont was employed with ASR.

Survivors include a sister, Sandra K. Patterson and her husband Douglas L. of Staunton; her companion of forty-three years, Glenn W. Thompson of Waynesboro; two nephews, Eric P. Patterson and his wife Joei and Kirt D. Patterson and his wife Traci; two great nephews, Seth Patterson and Ian Patterson, and numerous cousins.

A Memorial service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 19, 2021 in Memorial Baptist Church by Pastor Mark B. Jones.

The family will receive friends following the service in the Great Hall.

Burial will be private in Augusta Memorial Park.
