Sheilah Hobson Sanzone, 63, wife of Salvatore Sanzone of 813 Adams Street passed away Monday, September 10, 2012 at her residence.

Mrs. Sanzone was born in Richmond on May 15, 1949, a daughter of the late Sheldon T. and Delilah Hobson.

Mrs. Sanzone was a retired restaurant owner of the Sanzone Italian Restaurant that she and her husband owned in Stuarts Draft. Sheilah was the strength of character and was a substantial support to her husband in their business.

In addition to her parents, Sheilah was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.

In addition to her husband of twenty-seven years survivors include three sons, Neil Brooks and Aaron Sanzone both of Staunton and Daniel Sanzone of Stuarts Draft; a daughter Aimee Sanzone of Staunton; a brother, Steve Hobson; a sister, Nancy Courtney both of Richmond; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 14, 2012 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Harold W. Pete Campbell.

Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2012 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.

Active pallbearers will be Sheilahs three sons, Neil Brooks, Aaron Sanzone, Daniel Sanzone and Cecil Banks and Jim Storey.

It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to Meals on Wheels, 300 West Frederick Street, Staunton, Virginia 24401.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
