(Flickinger) Roberts

Sheila Mae (Flickinger) Roberts, 73, widow of Mickey Wilson Roberts, of Seth Drive, Staunton, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at her residence.
Mrs. Roberts was born in Augusta County, Virginia on August 25, 1948, daughter of the late Leslie LeRoy Flickinger, Sr. and Ethel Mae (Benson) Flickinger.
Sheila retired as a CNA and attended Christ United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Verona Moose Lodge and enjoyed bingo, cross-word puzzles and visiting with others.
In addition to her parents and husband of fifty-four years, Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin Fitzgerald and Leslie Flickinger, Jr.
Surviving, is a son, Michael W. Roberts and his wife Cindy of Staunton; two brothers, James Flickinger and wife Debra of Stuarts Draft, and Robert Flickinger of Fort Worth, Texas; three sisters, Marie Gilbert and husband Ronald, Felita Sanchez, her caregiver, all of Staunton, and Judy Hughes and husband Lester of Middlebrook; two grandchildren, Kayla Guyer and her husband Richard and Bob Armstrong and his wife Nickie; six great-grandchildren, Richard "Howie" Guyer, Madison "Madi" Guyer, Cody Armstrong, Makaya Armstrong, Brayden Armstrong, and Logan Armstrong; special nephews, Kaden and Michael Holden; and best friend, Mary Lowe.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory or at other times at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, at 2515 Bath Street, Staunton, VA 24401.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 9, 2022 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Glenn Hughes.
Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.
Active Pallbearers are Ronald Gilbert, Derek Flickinger, Bob Armstrong, Jeff Camden, Josh Pullin and Jared Pullin.

The family would like to express a special "Thank you" to Malisa Lacy at Amedysis Hospice and Barry and Katrina Munsey.
