Sharon Diann (Michael) Armstrong, 69, of Ridgeview Drive, Stuarts Draft, entered eternal life on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Armstrong was born in Staunton, Virginia on April 10, 1952 a daughter of the late Weldon Wright and Betty Ann Catherine (Driver) Michael.

Diann was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and attended Elizabeth Brant School of Business. She worked seven years at Heilig-Meyers and later retired from Hollister in 2006. Her spirit is carried on by her husband, seven children, twelve grandchildren, seven siblings and extended family and friends from every walk of life. Her family was blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Diann during her 69 years. She was a constant presence and reliable support to her family. Diann enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, she enjoyed cooking, especially making the BEST lasagna ever, she enjoyed the beach and "The Hillbilly Bash" that she did with her family.

In addition to her husband Nelson Lee Armstrong, Jr., of thirty-seven years, Diann is survived by her children and grandchildren; Jerry Jordan, (wife Cathy, grandchildren, Tristan and Jennifer); Lyle Lotts, (grandchildren, Brandon, Colson, Brantley and River); Shaun Armstrong, (wife Sarah; grandchildren Winter and Aurora); Destiny Armstrong, (grandchildren, Journee, Brian Jr., Fantasy and Chozen); Hunter Lotts, Zane Armstrong, Madison Armstrong; three brothers, Larry Michael, Tommy Michael, and Claude Michael; four sisters, Nedra Michael, Tammy Hogle, Tina Michael, and Dana Meredith; many nieces; nephews and many friends, too numerous to list but not forgotten.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at the Stuarts Draft Park Pavilion, 96 Edgewood Lane, Stuarts Draft, Virginia 24477. Everyone is asked to wear "Pink".

In keeping with Diann's request, there will be no services, but instead, remember her as she was, full of life and love.

It is suggested those desiring make memorial contribution to the American Cancer Society, 420 Neff Ave, Suite 210, Harrisonburg, Virginia 22801.
