Sharon (Fitzgerald) Hoy's Obituary
Sharon (Fitzgerald) Hoy, 57, of 214 Desper Hollow Road, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Ms. Hoy was born on October 18, 1958 in Staunton, a daughter of Carl Edward Fitzgerald and the late Lillie Mae (Huffer) Fitzgerald.
Sharon attended Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed Bible study, music and her animals.
Surviving in addition to her father of Staunton, is a son William W. Hoy of Bartlesville, OK; three brothers, Curtis W. Fitzgerald and his wife Cathi of Lyons, KS, Steve Fitzgerald and his wife Karin and Mike D. Fitzgerald and his wife Hope all of Staunton; a sister, Kathy L. Robertson and her husband Doug of Staunton; her prayer partner, Nadine Sweet; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
A Graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2016 in Oaklawn Memory Gardens by Pastor Bobby Campbell.
Active pallbearers will be Brian Fitzgerald, Douglas Robertson, Pugs Robertson, Jason Robertson, Dale Fitzgerald, Ricky Strickler and J.R. Nuckolls.
The family will receive friends following the service at the home of Sharons brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Hope Fitzgerald, 95 Hillview Lane, Staunton.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
